Karen worked with me for five years as a boarding life assistant ("Manor Mom") at Victoria Manor - the girls' boarding house at Albert College. Karen frequently took the initiative to use her graphic design skills during her time with us. She created inspirational and boarding life posters for decorating the walls of the house. She also created door signs and items (such as personalized certificates and chocolate bar wrappers) for special occasions. I appreciated her creativity and willingness to share her talents with us! I’ve had the pleasure of working with Karen since she was hired by Community Options in 2014. Amongst her many talents and duties performed here, she has flourished in graphic design projects including, website development, brochures, posters, event invitations, annual reports and other organization documents and social media. Karen ensures ideas and feedback from the team are heard and considered throughout the designing process. Her warm, caring personality is expressed extensively through many of her creative designs.
